2. Public Required Courses: The courses China Survey (English-taught) and HSK are the public required courses for postgraduates delivered in Chinese. The course Introduction to China will be delivered in semester II of each academic year by the College of International Education. Students need to select the courses online. It is required for students to pass the HSK within two (2) years after enrollment. The students who major in Chinese, history and philosophy need to pass HSK level-6 beyond a mark of 180; however, other students who specialize in other majors are required to pass HSK level-5 beyond a mark of 210.
